Ages on the cards are our guide by format, not an official rating. Every game is free to download and has paid content. Payment terms checked in the US App Store and Google Play on October 13, 2026. How we built this list.
Helping you choose
For stories and dress-up, pick a castle game; for drawing, Disney Coloring World; for puzzles, Frozen Free Fall. All six apps are in the US App Store and Google Play; check availability in your country before installing.

This list helps compare activities; it is not a ranking. Ads, purchases and subscriptions are detailed on each game page. To choose by age, read the guide for parents of kids 4–12.
For a first try together, look at My Little Princess: Castle for castle stories or Disney Coloring World for coloring. We suggest them by format, not by store rating, so check the age label, ads and what’s free against your child’s interests. More picks: princess games for 4- and 5-year-olds.
For clue hunting, look at Papo Town Castle; our guide is 6–10. For matching and planning moves, try Frozen Free Fall, guide 8–12. Kids who love art or make-believe may stick with coloring and dollhouse games at any age. More in princess games for 8- to 12-year-olds.
All six are free to download, and all six sell something inside. Five list a subscription in the US App Store: Royal Castle, both My Little Princess games, Disney Coloring World and Papo Town Castle. Frozen Free Fall sells packs instead. Five of the six show “Contains ads” on Google Play. Check each game page and your own store.
Of our six, only Disney Coloring World showed no ads label in either US store on October 13, 2026, and StoryToys says it has no third-party advertising. Full access still needs a subscription. The other five show “Contains ads” on Google Play. Our ads guide shows how to check any app.
Yes, in the Play Corner: your child can make up a story, play memory match and color a castle right in the browser, with no ads or purchases. The six games in our list are mobile apps, though: install them from the App Store or Google Play, ideally together with your child.
The developer of Papo Town Castle says no Wi-Fi is required. For Disney Coloring World, StoryToys’ descriptions in both stores say pre-downloaded content plays offline. We haven’t checked either on a device, so test the activities in airplane mode before a trip. Offline play doesn’t mean there are no ads or purchases.
All six list Spanish in the US App Store language list, checked on October 13, 2026, and Frozen Free Fall lists the most languages, 24 in all. That’s iOS store information: it doesn’t prove every menu and voice line is translated, and we didn’t confirm languages on Android.
Start with an activity your child already knows: free-form stories with characters, or coloring. Show one action and see whether your child can repeat it without help. Check together how much text there is and where paid offers appear. Our guide to choosing a princess game has more.
