Is this game a good fit for your child?
Pick it if…
Your child likes spotting clues and working out answers. The castle hides a mystery to solve between your child’s own pretend scenes.
What to try together
Solve the first puzzle together and watch how your child reacts to the witch and the spell. Our 6–10 guide reflects this format.
When to look at another option
If your child only wants family stories, start with My Little Princess: Castle. Papo’s story includes a spell and a dungeon.

An idea for your own story
Become the royal detective. Each time you find an unusual object, come up with two theories: who it belongs to and how it ended up in this room.

Answers to common questions
What do you do in Papo Town Castle?
Explore the rooms, spot symbols and clues, and solve the castle’s mysteries to free the prince and the princess. Between puzzles, your child can cook, dress up the characters and act out stories of her own. Papo World promises “seven different scenarios,” and more rooms are sold as in-app purchases.
Is Papo Town Castle OK for a younger child?
Our guide by format is 6–10. The story has a witch, a spell and a dungeon, so see how your child reacts to that kind of plot, and try the first puzzles together. The App Store rates the game 4+; our range is editorial guidance and doesn’t replace the store rating.
Does Papo Town Castle work without Wi-Fi?
Papo World says it does: its App Store page, Google Play listing and website all say “No Wi-Fi required.” We haven’t checked this on a device. Before a trip, open each room you bought in airplane mode at home. Our offline princess games guide walks through the test.
