For parents
- The Play Corner games have no ads, no purchases and no links to app stores. We don’t ask for a name, and stories and pictures never leave the device. The site counts only anonymous visit statistics (Vercel Web Analytics, no cookies). The rest of the site is for grown-ups: it describes apps and has store buttons. Before opening a store, the site asks a grown-up to solve a sum written in words.
- Stickers and colored pictures are saved only in this browser. Clearing the site’s data removes them.
- Read-aloud uses your device or browser voice. Some browsers, such as Chrome, may use online voices for this.
- The games are made for kids about 5 to 10. Pictures on every choice help children who can’t read yet, and so do the Listen buttons if the device can read aloud.
Questions from parents
Are the Play Corner games free?
Yes. All the Play Corner games are free and run right in the browser on a phone, tablet or computer. There is nothing to install, no sign-up and nothing to buy. The games themselves have no ads and no links to app stores. The rest of the site is meant for grown-ups and has App Store and Google Play buttons, but before opening a store the site asks a grown-up to solve a sum.
What data is saved?
Only the stickers your child earns and the pictures they color, in this browser’s storage. We never ask for a name, and stories and pictures stay on the device. Visit statistics come from Vercel Web Analytics, with no cookies or identifying data. Read-aloud uses the device’s voice; some browsers use online voices, which process the story text.
What age are these games for?
Kids roughly 5 to 10. Memory match has three levels with 4, 6 and 8 pairs. In the story maker every choice has a picture and the finished story can be read aloud, so children who can’t read yet can play too. Older kids enjoy making up what happens next.
