How old is Moana? Moana is 16 in Moana (2016).
Moana looks for a way beyond the horizon to help her island. Her voyage is easy to continue on a paper map: invent the stops, the supplies for the crew and the way home. In the story, she is a chief's daughter; Disney Princess is the name of the collection Disney includes her in.

Invent islands for Moana's voyage
Our own activity ideas inspired by the story — for drawing, toys and telling stories aloud.
- Draw a chain of five islands. On each one, invent a special task: find fresh water, fix the boat, help a bird. What will the crew take along?
- Fold a paper boat with a grown-up, or just draw one. Invent three guiding stars that help the heroine find her way home.
Talk about it together: What discovery will help your heroine take care of her home? What can she learn only on the voyage?

How to start your own ocean adventure
We haven't added a separate ocean game with Moana to our catalog yet. Build the story from a map and paper figures instead: the heroine's wish, an obstacle, a helper and the trip home. If an obstacle is hard to come up with, borrow one of our five story starters and move it to the islands.
